Located on the tip of Sandbanks Peninsular in one of the world’s most expensive locations, this stunning spot warranted a strong contemporary design. The private clients brief was for a four-storey contemporary house including a subterranean indoor pool and leisure complex, master bedroom suites, top floor entertainment space and sea facing roof terrace, all extending to just over 9000 square feet. Our design approach drew on a strong horizontal emphasis through the floor zones/balconies in a nod to Frank Lloyd Wrights falling water design, but with a modern 21st century detailing and technology.

The house uses water repellent silicone render, seamless corner glazing, bronze window frame and roof profiles and a parapeted helical staircase visible through the glass frontage with the sea beyond as the backdrop.
